Trauma: Improving Care Across the Continuum

Two days of advanced trauma education, simulation, and cadaver procedural lab!

Be a part of the first ever interactive trauma educational event hostedby the South Dakota Emergency Nurses Association in partnership with the Siouxland American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the South Dakota EMS Association. Day one is an interactive classroom session in advanced trauma care concepts: “Trauma: Beyond the Moment of Impact” presented by national speaker Bill Light BSN RN CEN CPEN. Day two includes high fidelity simulation by SIM-SD and a hands-on cadaver procedural lab sponsored by Teleflex. Also on site will be exhibitors, including the American Heart Association, i-Stat, and more. Local air transport teams will provide static displays and landing zone training.  This is a unique opportunity to learn advanced trauma skills side-by-side in cooperation with health care providers from across the spectrum of care. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.

This opportunity may allow all staff from your service to attend educational conferences this year, some to the annual EMS conference and some to the trauma conference.

Click on the link below for more information and registration for the event.  The deadline is August 14th, 2015 so please remeber to register early.
